When I set out to design this European inspired wedding editorial, I kept coming back to one idea: What if love looked like art? I didn’t just want to create something beautiful—I wanted to tell a story. A story rooted in elegance and old-world romance, but elevated by thoughtful design and a collaborative creative process.
This spring, I had the pleasure of planning and hosting my first editorial at one of my favorite venues in the tri-state area: Hamilton Farm Golf Club. Nestled in the rolling hills of New Jersey, the estate feels like a European villa. With lush gardens, stately interiors, and the most charming vintage wallpaper, it offered the perfect backdrop for our creative vision.
This European inspired wedding editorial began with a vision and a budget. I collaborated closely with our florist, @wildbloomsnj, to ensure we could make a major visual impact without going overboard. Together, we leaned into the idea of “perfectly imperfect” — everything intentional, but never stiff.
I wanted this shoot to be a platform for creativity, not constraint. Each vendor was given freedom to explore their own artistry and make something they were proud of. Because as planners and creatives, we rarely get full creative freedom—and I wanted this to feel like a true creative retreat for all involved.
Every detail was designed to reinforce our theme of love and art intertwined:
Even the tablescape was curated to feel like an immersive art experience. We styled sculptural centerpieces and paired them with soft linens from @reverie_social to evoke the feeling of dining inside a private gallery.
There were so many highlights from the day, but one I was especially excited about was photographing our models on the venue’s staircase, right in front of the vintage floral wallpaper. It’s a corner of the venue I’m obsessed with, and the resulting images were everything I hoped they’d be.
The overall energy was high—collaborative, creative, and full of laughter (and snacks). Hearing afterward from both our photographer and videographer that this was one of their favorite editorials to date? That was the best part. As my first styled shoot as lead planner, it felt incredibly rewarding to know that our vision—and all the heart that went into it—came through so clearly.
This editorial was created for the couple who truly values beauty, intention, and the magic that happens when everything comes together just right. Someone who doesn’t just want “pretty,” but wants meaningful. Who understands that the best weddings are a result of time, heart, collaboration—and a team of trusted creatives.
If you’re planning a wedding that reflects those values, this vendor team is ready to bring your vision to life.
